Online & Phone Counselling

Being in your own space and not needing to travel can help sessions feel safer, manageable, relaxed, and engaging. We can always explore what would help you feel more comfortable working in this way if needed.
Please find a quiet and private space for sessions, I will do the same. This could be a room away from others, a space without distractions like phones, pets or television, or even your car if that’s what works best for you.
Counselling is a one-to-one space, so generally, sessions won’t take place if others are present. If noise, interruptions, or other issues arise, we can pause and rearrange as needed.
We can discuss whether online or phone counselling would suit you best. It’s your choice which you would prefer.
Working Online
Online Counselling involves using the Zoom app, either on your computer or phone. Having both audio and video connection can help some people feel more engaged and connected. This can be especially useful for those who might prefer face to face counselling but aren’t able to attend for any reason.
Working by Phone
Phone counselling can help if you prefer talking without the video. It can be especially helpful for those who find technology confusion or have anxiety about video calls and face to face counselling. It can also be useful if you’d like counselling in a lunch break, for instance.
If you feel you would benefit from working in these ways please get in contact and we can talk it through.
